By the time Jackie Howard returns to Silver Falls in Season 3, the Colorado town no longer feels like the refuge she entered after losing her family. It has become the place where she rebuilt herself, complicated two brothers’ lives and found a community she may not be ready to leave. The season resumes after Cole and Jackie’s overheard declaration of love and George Walter’s medical emergency, then sends Cole toward motor racing, Alex deeper into rodeo and Jackie into a town project that tests where she belongs.
Silver Falls remains fictional, but nearly everything giving it character is real. My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 is filmed in Alberta, Canada, with Calgary serving as its production center and smaller communities, schools, ranches and foothill landscapes supplying the town’s many pieces. Season 3 was shot from August 6 to December 1, 2025, before arriving on Netflix on August 6, 2026.
Where was My Life with the Walter Boys Filmed?
Alberta Returns as Silver Falls
Season 3 continued the show’s established Alberta production model rather than moving Silver Falls closer to its stated Colorado setting. Calgary housed the principal unit and studio work, while location filming spread into High River and surrounding communities. Reporting connected to the new episodes also identifies the return of CL Ranch and Chestermere High School, two places that have anchored the Walter home and school storylines since Season 1.
Alberta works because the series needs several versions of the American West at once. Ranchland sells the Walter family’s working property, the Rockies provide distant horizons, and towns around Calgary offer main streets that feel established without appearing metropolitan. Silver Falls may be invented, but after three seasons it has developed a consistent physical identity.

CL Ranch Is the Walter Home
CL Ranch, a working property west of Calgary, provides the exterior of the Walter family home. Its fields, fences, barns and foothill views give the series the scale it needs. Jackie is not merely moving into a crowded house. She is entering a family operation in which horses, chores and physical distance shape daily life.
The ranch appeared in Seasons 1 and 2, and Season 3 location reporting confirms its return. The actors also received riding training for the series, helping the rodeo and ranch material feel grounded rather than staged for an occasional episode. CL Ranch is a functioning property, so viewers should not assume that the Walter home operates as a public television attraction.

Calgary Studios and City Sites
Rocky Mountain Film Studio in Calgary has served as the show’s soundstage base. Production listings identify the facility used by the series at 7016 81 Street, and Season 3 records again name the studio for controlled filming. Recurring interiors can therefore be shot with consistent lighting and sound while exterior scenes remain tied to Alberta’s real weather and landscape.
Calgary has contributed far more than stages. Earlier seasons used Girletz Rodeo Ranch for the county fair rodeo and Heritage Park Historical Village for the amusement grounds. Netflix’s broader location records also identify the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, Splitsville Glamorgan and the University of Calgary. These places belong to the series’ established Silver Falls geography, although Netflix has not released a complete scene-by-scene Season 3 location list.

High River Expands Season 3
High River is one of the clearest publicly documented Season 3 locations. Filming began along 12th Avenue SW in August 2025, shortly after principal photography started. Crews returned for additional work from September 29 to October 6, then came back for more filming on October 22, October 23 and October 27.
That repeated schedule suggests High River was used for more than one passing exterior. Its low-rise streets, older storefronts, parks and residential corners allow different pieces of Silver Falls to be assembled within one production-friendly town. Local notices did not always identify the corresponding scenes, so attaching every Season 3 storyline to a specific address would be guesswork.

High River had already appeared in Season 2, when recognizable areas including George Lane Park were used. Returning there preserves visual continuity while Jackie’s community project and the Walter brothers’ new pursuits introduce fresh corners of town.
Silver Falls High School
Silver Falls High is a composite location rather than one building. Chestermere High School, east of Calgary, supplied many Season 1 classrooms, entrances and sports facilities, with students from the area appearing as extras. Production returned to Chestermere for Season 2, and current location reporting says the campus continued to feature in Season 3.
Season 1 also used W.G. Murdoch School in Crossfield for parts of the fictional campus. Season 2 added Holy Trinity Academy in Okotoks, whose field was transformed for a Silver Falls football game. Combining several schools gives the production more corridors, facades, classrooms and playing areas than one active campus could reasonably provide.

My Life with the Walter Boys Season 1 Filming Locations
Crossfield was central to the show’s first season in 2022. Along with W.G. Murdoch School, a vacant Railway Street building became the Lark Cafe, one of the places where the teenage characters could gather away from the Walter ranch. Family Auto Glass was used for Tony’s Automotive, giving Silver Falls a convincing workplace without constructing a separate commercial block.
Cochrane supplied Glenhill Drive, William Camden Park, Fence & Post and Texas Gate Bar & Grill. Cochrane RancheHouse hosted Katherine’s veterinary award event, while Kananaskis Country’s Elbow River Launch added the rugged landscape beyond the town. Bragg Creek has also been included among the Alberta communities used to construct the wider Silver Falls setting.
The patchwork is the illusion: one community provides a cafe, another supplies a school, Calgary contributes a fairground, and a ranch west of the city holds the Walter household together.
My Life with the Walter Boys Season 2 Filming Locations
Season 2 filmed from July to November 2024 and retained Calgary as its production base while expanding farther into High River and Okotoks. Holy Trinity Academy’s football field was the most visible Okotoks transformation, while High River supplied streets, parks and public spaces that widened Silver Falls beyond the locations established in Season 1.
Returning to CL Ranch and Chestermere High was equally important. Jackie’s arrival back from New York needed to feel like a homecoming, not a reset hidden by editing. Reusing the ranch, the school and the surrounding Alberta scenery preserved that familiarity while the additional towns made Silver Falls appear larger and more socially connected.
Filming Dates Explained
The four production ranges circulating online cover four seasons, not three. Season 1 filmed from April 11 to August 22, 2022. Season 2 followed from July 22 to November 15, 2024, and Season 3 ran from August 6 to December 1, 2025.
The final 2026 range belongs to Season 4. Netflix has confirmed that the next chapter is now in production for a 2027 release. Some production databases include an earlier preparation date, while ACTRA Alberta currently lists principal shooting from July 27 through November 20, 2026.
Alberta has now played Silver Falls long enough that the disguise is almost beside the point. CL Ranch is the Walter home, Crossfield and Chestermere form its school years, Cochrane supplies its small-town ease, and High River gives the community room to grow. Colorado exists in the script, but the emotional geography of My Life with the Walter Boys belongs firmly to southern Alberta.
