Where Is Below Deck Mediterranean Season 12 Filming? Corfu and the Zaliv III Yacht Explained

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 may still be unfolding on television, but Captain Sandy Yawn’s next charter season is already taking shape. Bravo has confirmed that Below Deck Mediterranean will return for Season 12 in 2027, with Sandy once again at the helm and Aesha Scott returning as chief stew.

This time, the crew has moved away from the Croatian setting of Season 11 and headed back to Greece. Bravo has not yet released a traditional filming-location announcement, but production sightings strongly point to Corfu as one of the main bases for Season 12, while another familiar part of the franchise is changing too: the yacht.

Below Deck Med Season 12 Is Filming in Greece

Greece is the part of the Season 12 location that can be stated with confidence. Bravo’s own coverage of the upcoming Summer House crossover confirmed that the cast was aboard Below Deck Med’s yacht in Greece during production.

That means the series is returning to Greek waters after spending Season 11 around Dubrovnik, Croatia. Below Deck Mediterranean has filmed in Greece before, but Season 12 appears to be concentrating on the country’s western side rather than the Athens-centered waters seen in some earlier seasons.

Corfu Appears to Be a Major Season 12 Filming Location

The more specific location appears to be Corfu, one of Greece’s Ionian Islands. Photos shared during production showed the Season 12 yacht and crew filming there, while an eyewitness who said they were berthed nearby described watching the production film crew activity, a charter departure and a tip meeting.

That is much stronger evidence than simple cast vacation photos because those are recognizable parts of Below Deck’s normal charter-production routine. Still, Bravo has not officially announced Corfu as the Season 12 setting, so it is better described as a filming location identified through production sightings rather than a network-confirmed location.

Corfu sits in the Ionian Sea off Greece’s northwestern coast. Its position also gives yachts easy access to smaller islands and coastal stops, making it well suited to the moving charter format used by Below Deck Med.

Are Paxos and Antipaxos Also Season 12 Filming Locations?

Paxos, Antipaxos, Lefkada and other Ionian destinations have already been mentioned as possible Season 12 stops because of their proximity to Corfu. However, there is not enough reliable public evidence yet to list those places as confirmed filming locations.

For now, Greece is officially confirmed and Corfu is strongly supported by filming sightings. Any additional islands should be added only when production photos, cast posts or episodes themselves establish that the yacht visited them.

Is Zaliv III the Below Deck Med Season 12 Yacht?

Production sightings also indicate that Season 12 is being filmed aboard Zaliv III, a large motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Mondomarine. As with Corfu, Bravo has not formally announced the yacht’s identity yet, but the vessel has been identified in reports from the filming area.

Zaliv III measures about 49.6 meters, or roughly 163 feet, and was built in 2011. According to Mondomarine, the yacht accommodates 12 guests across six cabins and has outdoor entertaining areas, a spa pool, a gym and a large swim platform. Its maximum speed is listed at around 22 knots.

The yacht is slightly smaller than Akira One, the approximately 52-meter vessel used for Season 11, but its layout still provides the large guest spaces and crew areas required for a Below Deck charter season.

The Summer House Crossover Was Also Filmed in Greece

Season 12 will include another major change for Below Deck Med. Bravo has already revealed that several Summer House Season 11 cast members boarded the yacht for a crossover charter.

The first-look photo featured Captain Sandy and Aesha alongside Jesse Solomon, Mia Calabrese, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Carl Radke, Kyle Cooke and Bailey Taylor. The crossover is expected to air as part of the franchises’ 2027 seasons, although Bravo has not announced an exact premiere date for Below Deck Mediterranean Season 12.

So far, the safest picture of the new season is clear: Below Deck Mediterranean Season 12 is filming in Greece, Corfu appears to be a central production location, and Zaliv III appears to be the yacht carrying Captain Sandy’s new crew. More specific Ionian Island filming stops should become clearer as production continues and Bravo begins officially promoting the season.
