A mislabeled package becomes the unlikely starting point for romance in Hallmark’s “Love Finds You.” Aimee Teegarden plays Alex, a jewelry designer who opens a parcel that was never meant for her and becomes convinced its contents reveal something about the man who should have received it. Finding that stranger means retracing the package’s route across the city, with delivery driver Jack, played by Chris McNally, reluctantly joining the search. Predictably, the person Alex spends all that time looking for may matter less than the man already walking beside her. Hallmark premieres the movie on August 22, 2026.
The city Alex and Jack spend so much time crossing was created in British Columbia, with production centered in Burnaby. The movie was shot under the working title “Return to Sender,” and Canadian union production records confirm that principal photography ran from May 19 through June 5, 2026.
Burnaby, British Columbia
Burnaby was the main production home for “Love Finds You,” rather than simply a secondary base attached to a Vancouver shoot.
UBCP/ACTRA’s official active-production list places “Return to Sender” in Burnaby and identifies it as a movie of the week directed by Eva Tavares and produced by John Prince. The production office operated from 2400 Boundary Road, a major film and television production address in the city. That address should not be confused with an onscreen location, however. The union document identifies it as the production office, not as Alex’s workplace, Jack’s delivery depot or another fictional setting.
That distinction is important because Burnaby has several districts that can convincingly create the kind of citywide setting needed by the story. It has high-rise commercial areas, older neighborhood shopping streets, residential blocks and quieter pockets of small businesses, all within a relatively compact production radius.

For a movie built around following clues from one address to another, that variety is more useful than one instantly recognizable landmark.
The Citywide Search Was Built Around Real Streets
Hallmark’s official synopsis describes Alex and Jack embarking on a “citywide search,” and the movie’s promotional photographs confirm that much of their relationship develops away from a single central location.
Burnaby is particularly practical for that kind of story because different parts of the city barely resemble one another. Brentwood and Metrotown provide dense, contemporary urban environments, while neighborhoods farther east and south contain smaller commercial strips, detached homes and tree-lined streets.
No reliable production notice has yet identified which of those districts appear in the finished movie. Claims that a particular Metrotown street, Brentwood storefront or Burnaby Heights business served as a set should therefore be treated cautiously unless additional behind-the-scenes evidence emerges.
What can be confirmed is the broader Burnaby production base and the fact that local background performers worked on “Return to Sender” across several dates in May. Performer payment records list work between May 18 and May 28, overlapping directly with the official principal-photography schedule.

Where Is Alex’s Jewelry Studio?
Alex’s work as a jewelry designer gives “Love Finds You” one of its most visually distinctive interiors, but the real property used for her studio has not been publicly named.
The production appears to have used local interiors and dressed commercial spaces rather than building the entire movie around a major identifiable tourist attraction. That fits Burnaby’s strength as a filming city. Crews can take over ordinary businesses, office units and storefronts and transform them without the location becoming more recognizable than the characters.
There is currently no trustworthy source confirming the exact building used as Alex’s jewelry workspace. The same applies to her home.
That means viewers hoping to visit “Alex’s jewelry shop” after watching the movie should wait for a verified location rather than relying on visual matches posted online.

Where Was Jack’s Delivery Route Filmed?
Jack’s job is essential to the premise because the incorrectly delivered parcel is what brings him into Alex’s search. His delivery route also gives the filmmakers a natural reason to keep moving through different streets, houses and businesses.
Again, no actual courier depot or fictional delivery-company headquarters has been publicly identified.
That lack of one famous location is not necessarily a weakness. “Love Finds You” needs the city to behave like a puzzle. Every address can potentially lead Alex toward the intended recipient, which means ordinary streets are more useful than a series of recognizable Vancouver landmarks.

The movie’s production base reinforces that approach. Burnaby sits immediately east of Vancouver, but the official industry records name Burnaby itself rather than describing “Return to Sender” as a general Vancouver production.
Was Love Finds You Filmed in Vancouver?
The most accurate answer is that Burnaby is the confirmed production location, although Burnaby is part of Metro Vancouver and is routinely grouped into the broader Vancouver film industry.
This is where filming articles can become unnecessarily vague. Calling every Lower Mainland production a “Vancouver shoot” may be geographically understandable, but it removes the more useful information available here. The union listing specifically gives Burnaby as the production base and a Burnaby production-office address.
At present, I could not verify a separate filming day in the City of Vancouver itself. If later crew records or location notices confirm Vancouver streets, they can be added. For now, Burnaby is the strongest documented answer.

When Was Love Finds You Filmed?
Principal photography ran from May 19 to June 5, 2026, according to UBCP/ACTRA’s production records. That is slightly more precise than descriptions that say filming lasted only “a couple of weeks.”
The movie was made under the title “Return to Sender,” which explains why searches for “Love Finds You filming locations” reveal relatively little production-era reporting. Hallmark changed the title before release, while union and performer records retained the working name. Letterboxd also lists “Return to Sender” as an alternate title for the finished film.
That title change suits the movie more than it might initially appear. “Return to Sender” describes the package mystery, while “Love Finds You” gives away Hallmark’s real interest in the search. Alex may spend the movie following a parcel across a fictional city, but the production itself stayed much closer to home. Burnaby provided the shops, streets and urban variety needed to make that search feel much larger than the compact Metro Vancouver shoot behind it.
