There is a reason London never feels like a convenient backdrop in Fuze. David Mackenzie actually put his cameras into some of the neighborhoods caught up in the story, including Edgware Road and Paddington, while using other parts of England whenever the scale of the action made central London impractical. Wembley became the bomb site,…
Susan Ryeland is once again caught between a murder in the real world and the secrets hidden inside an Atticus Pund novel in Marble Hall Murders. The PBS Masterpiece mystery reunites Lesley Manville and Tim McMullan for the third installment following Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders, but this time the production expands its world considerably.…
MGM+’s A Tale of Two Cities brings Charles Dickens’ famous story back to television with Kit Harington, Francois Civil and Mirren Mack at the center of its complicated love triangle. The four-part adaptation moves between Georgian London and France, but the production did not need to divide its principal filming between the two countries shown…
Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 may still be unfolding on television, but Captain Sandy Yawn’s next charter season is already taking shape. Bravo has confirmed that Below Deck Mediterranean will return for Season 12 in 2027, with Sandy once again at the helm and Aesha Scott returning as chief stew. This time, the crew has…
An elegant Irish wedding should have been one of Gethsemane Brown’s easier musical engagements, but Hallmark’s Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude to a Wedding quickly turns the celebration into another murder case. The fourth movie keeps the franchise’s strongest visual element intact by once again filming on location in Ireland, rather than using Canada or another…
Joe Swanberg’s The Sun Never Sets places a messy romantic decision against a setting so striking that it becomes impossible to separate the characters from their surroundings. Dakota Fanning plays Wendy, whose relationship with Jack, an older divorced father played by Jake Johnson, reaches an uncomfortable crossroads when he suggests that they spend some time…

Adam Wingard’s Onslaught makes unusually strong use of its New Mexico surroundings. The A24 action-horror film, starring Adria Arjona as former Army sniper Celeste, was filmed primarily in and around Albuquerque and Moriarty, New Mexico, with the production using real desert locations, existing buildings and purpose-built sets instead of relying heavily on virtual environments. Principal…
The Gentlemen expands well beyond Halstead Manor in Season 2, and the change is visible almost immediately. Guy Ritchie’s Netflix crime series was filmed mainly across England and northern Italy, combining aristocratic estates, an airfield, a cathedral, historic mansions and the shores of Lake Maggiore. Badminton House in Gloucestershire returns as Eddie Horniman’s fictional family…
Apple TV’s Mayday sends Ryan Reynolds behind enemy lines, but the Cold War adventure was assembled far from the Soviet Union. Directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the 1987-set action comedy stars Reynolds as U.S. Navy pilot Lieutenant Troy “Assassin” Kelly, whose secret mission over Russian territory goes wrong. His unlikely lifeline is…
The old streets, grand churches and seemingly untouched houses in Netflix’s Lovesick are not the product of one enormous studio backlot. The Mexican period drama, released under its original title Mal de amores in Spanish-speaking markets, was filmed extensively across Puebla and San Luis Potosí, with additional work in Mexico City and several smaller communities…
